Happy Christmas & New Year

Hello everybody and thanks for using and supporting Wisepunter throughout 2009 and into 2010.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy some time with their family and gets a break from the usual boring parts of life.

As always we are looking at ways of improving the competition and website here at Wisepunter, and I have been recently looking at the various XML data streams we can use to get the sports and matches.

I have compared them all and have decided that I will start designing version 3 of the competition using

UniBet. This Feed provides will allow us to add better features, more sports and more types of bets.

They are also offering anyone from this site a free £20 bet using the link above.

FREE ARBITRAGE CALCULATOR

We have just launched another site WindowsArbitrageCalculator.com

The primary purpose for this site is to host our free downloadable Windows arb calculator.

This all came about because I was looking for a windows arbitrage calculator, so I no longer has to use the slow web based versions anymore (That includes Wisepunter's one!)

I noticed that there really wasn't any decent ones about except one that admittedly is good, but charges around $80 to register. Well, now we have made one that is 100% free, it's fast and it does all the things the average person who bets or trades wants to do quickly with out using windows calc.exe and making costly mistakes.

New Sports Tipster Competition!

There has been a huge amount of effort gone into making this Sports Tipster Competition the best we have every ran, by a long way!

Everything has been redesigned from the ground up to allow us to host multiple sports and multiple types of bets. We have listened to your feed back and added the sports, bets and features you wanted!

There is now 4 different sports and often more than one bet style per sport.
You can add comments to other people previews.
You can see how you are doing in each individual sports as well as the overall league.
You can easily look up previous month's leagues to see where you or others came.
You can now see the Top 5 most popular bets on the site to help with your real betting.
We have subtly modified all of the tables and forms to give them a cleaner and more professional look.
We have massivly improved the admin interface, so we can easily add in more leagues and sports as soon as they are availiable.

Please let us know your feedback in the forums, as always we will keep improving things. Also please let me know of any bugs you find!!
